Most opposing teams put two players on Sam to try and keep him under controls. What about the gaps in the field that creates

Yes those gaps that Sammy ignores and decides to carry on running up the pitch.

Hey hey, calm down everybody!
I think everyone is getting carried away here. Sammy is a good player that worries the opposition but doesn't deliver the goods as often as we'd like. It's not nice to see him go from hero to zero. For all we know he could still earn himself a contract in the next 3 games.
There's better wingers in this division. But there are worse.
So everyone get off Sammy's back!

I'd keep Aiston, he offers us something that no one else in the squad can. His crossing is far from great but we've seen an improvement already since GP charge - goals for Luke Rodgers against Kiddy and Mansfield have come from Aiston crosses.
I hope we keep Howie, although it's evident he's going to be mainly a sub for next season. That said GP does like to give his younger players a rest after a stint in the team - see Edwards and Langmead for examples - and so we will certainly need a good replacement.

i agree with rob
i'd keep sam too
i think he's got pace, can take on opponents and i think his crossing has improved, but part of the problem is that often our players don't get in the box and attack his crosses.
i also think he worries the opposition and in doing so stops them getting forward. quite often the opposition double up on him which creates space for our other players.

Scott Howie: One year extension Trevor Challis: Sorry mate, you're off Darren Tinson: Too old. Good player but we need to look ahead. Mike Sheron: Can't really say but Peters seems to like him Jake Sedgemore: One year extension Luke Rodgers: I think Luke will go to pastures new Sam Aiston: One year extension with option for another year Martin O'Connor: Too old. See ya mate. Stuart Whitehead: Two year contract David Edwards: new two year deal Kevin Street: See ya Ross Stephens: Peters seems to like youth players, depends on how he does pre-season Carl Clampitt: one year deal

Dave Edwards isn't out of contract. He signed a two and a half year deal midway through last season.
Knowledge.

I think we should keep scott howie whats he done wrong in the two seasons hes been with the town .He would keep hart on his toes knowing there is a quality keeper waiting to step into his boots .lets not forget hart has only played three games and has no experience and we dont know how he will be next season.Howie to stay at least for another season.

Scott Howie: Joe Hart really has shone through the last few games-think Gary will bring in a lower paid keeper for cover. Trevor Challis: Has improved but still not good enough to justify staying on-also think he'll be looking for a club closer to Bristol-probably in the non-league. Darren Tinson: Would LOVE to see him leave (not a fan) but I get the awful feeling he'll stay on. Sheron: Too slow to be winger and not as lethal as he used to be up front. Another 6 months at best (I hope) would like to see a younger replacement. Jake Sedgemore: the opposite of above. Shame as I think we'll miss the fact he's the only player at the club who can score from free-kicks. Thanks for the away game at Grimbsy Sedge and good luck (if you leave) Luke Rodgers: Less than a year ago he was everyone's first name on the team sheet. Think he'll have to move on given his inconsistent recent form-were screaming out for a 20+ goals a season striker. Sam Aiston: D'ont think Peters really likes him-Shame he's bout the only player we have left who actually likes running at opposition players. Martin O'Connor: Bye Stuart Whitehead: Not sure if Tinson goes I'll think he'll stay on for a season as cover. David Edwards: If he'snot given a new contract I refuse to re-new my season ticket Kevin Street: gone (sadly-never thought i'd say that this time last season) Ross Stephens: us? release a promiosing youngster without really giving him a chance-you jest surely! Carl Clampitt: think Peters will give a run out in a few friendlys before making any long term decisions. Rolling contract. In short be glad to see the back of a few players and sorry to see others go. But given GP's track record of signing and the fact he hopefully has/will put his foot down with the baord regarding the transfer/wage budget I say roll on August! Would we be saying this if Quinn was still in charge? GARY MUST STAY!

I think we'll get a better idea in the next couple of games. Now that we're safe I'd expect to see some experimentation and some different players in the next few games.

if i am GP I will leave it up to Wadsworth to decide who stays as i don't want to be one of those chairmen who tells his manager what to do
