Firstly Mr/Mrs Hyprocite if you are having a go at my wife put your name to the post and meet me, then visit the hospital with me and we will see what she was like on sunday. THAT WILL SHUT YOU UP Thanks for all the good will wishes to my wife. Thankfully now she is back home, I was really worried on sunday I must say, someone in her condition, with her asthma bad and also possible septicemia was not feeling well...but thanks to the Docs and Nurses in the MEC dept she is back on her feet

Dickhead. Bearing in mind that the majority of people ( dont want to sound patronising ) , know about as much about medicine ect, as i do about tumble dryers, how are they supposed to know its something that can be treated with rest, water and a couple of paracetamol. Speak to any paramedic and they will tell you they would rather be called out on a false alarm than have someone die. If someone is ill, then they are ill, its not up to joe public to decide if they are ill enough for an ambulance. People are trained to do that.

Never had any problems with a+e.
Chopped part of my finger off-was seen straight away
broke my wrist playing footy-was seen straight away
broke my arm (rather badly) playing rugby-was seen straigh away.
Having said that when they wanted to keep me in last time (broken arm) they didnt have and free space in the male rooms so i was put in a room of beds with feck loads of middle aged and old ladies and the place stunk of p**s....

News reaches me of a "cheeky" ex member of the away supporters team who fell off a bar stool in the Steam Wagon a couple of weeks ago, was rushed to A&E and spent the night in hospital Wouldn't happen with the stringent management discipline in place these days of course ;D
