I'm still working on Mr Wiggy to go with me to Northwich- I can't go if he doesn't go anyway. He sort of half agreed- then said he didn't want to get cold. (He's a bit wimpy since he's been ill- I suppose it's understandable!) So I even told him he could drop me there and go off and look at some car showrooms for the duration of the match. (As you may have gathered- he's more into cars than football!) Anyway- we may go- hopefully!

Well it's 7.45 pm and unlike the two previous evenings in Crewe (10 miles from Northwich) there's no frost and it's a lot milder so hopefully it's game on.
If Mr Wiganshrew wants car showrooms I live a mile from the Bentley factory - you can drop him off and we'll all go and see the Town together!!!

Oh- good one- I'll tell him!! Is that in Crewe- the Bently Factory? I went to college in Crewe. (It's now part of Manchester Metropolitan Uni.) When I was there, there was a Rolls-Royce factory.

Sadly the Bentley and Rolls Royce names were bought up by separate German companies - VW and errr... gosh ain't I the ignorant one !! Anyway Bentley are now staying in Crewe while Rolls are going to be made somewhere down south. At the moment they've got the car which won the 24 hour Le Monds race on display
Here endeth the lesson -sorry if it sounds like a shamelss plug for Bentley -maybe Luke Rodgers would like a visit ??
