Today's "banker" number 1, War of Attrition, is left for dust, but the second one, Hardy Eustace, takes it by a nose Ching ching 2 English winners so far out of the 3, so much for an Irish clean sweep p.s. Ghostie, who did you have in the Arkle at 2.40? Today's Doyen?

Aye, found odds of 5/1 on Paddy, just enough for a tenner E/W. still couldn't see any odds on Betfair for it tho. The race is there, but that particular beast was nowhere to be seen.

Fancied Back in Front and Macs Joy against Hardy Eustace - how wrong I was? War of attrition looked great on paper, sadly didn't look quite so good on grass. Not quite as bad as Colourful Life's efforts though, took a bit of a tumble in the William Hill, think he got up ok. Did get a win on Spothedifference at 4-1, which got most of today's losses back. Better luck for tomorrow

Had Contraband and Harcibald(thanks Reg in and each way Yankee. After hearing Paddy Power and Thommo on talkSPORT this morning went with Hardy Eustace for a win. Listening to that race on the radio was murder. £25 up so far but finding winners is hard, so I am going to stick with just each way. Some good value too. BTW had to queue at WH in Harlescott at 10.30am this morning.

Have Royal Paradise at 9/2, and Moscow Flyer at 13/8. not individually, but as part of an accumulator with Hardy Eustace 3/1 yesterday, and Kicking King 11/2 in the 'Cup. 5er staked on all to win, 2.50 on all each way. 4 wins will net me somewhere in the region of 2 grand. Statto's got me 1/4 of the way there and lined me pockets once, can he do the big one? If my luck holds today, may be a bit of Betfair laying going on
