I am presuming this game will eb called off as well - i wouldn't be able to justify the cost of travelling all the way back to shrews for a supporters game I'm sorry......

[glow=green,2,300]Very disappointing response that Mr Thomas. What sort of example is that from our captain?
That would be like professional players saying "I live in Nottingham, I'm not going to bother coming to training on Monday!" It just wouldn't happen, would it
In all seriousness, it was the first thing I thought about & I was going to suggest we still played it, but with a much later kick off, like 11am.
To be fair it suits me not to play as I have loads to get done round the home. But what do others think? We would obviously need to liaise with Telfords supporters on it as well if people still felt they would like to play. They may turn round and say they don't fancy coming over for a game as the main game has now been postponed. [/glow]

I'd still play but to be honest it probably will be a non-starter.
Perhaps we could arrange another 7-a-side tie before the re-match? And of course have an 11-a-side tie before the Telford away game (if that's on a Saturday)
