you'll find plenty about Jay Denny in Google, he pops up on plenty of the USA soccer boards. He's never played for us but made the bench as an unused substitute at the end of last season. He's done well in the Pontins League but this is no level to really judge a player. Hopefully some first team football in England will help him along. He's got a decent shot on him too

Well done to the Reserves who beat Hull City 4-0 in the Pontin's League Cup. Kevin street with a hatrick(3) and David Edwards with the other goal. UP THE TOWN!!!!

I know a Bristol Rovers season ticket holder who says Streets career there followed a similar pattern to what it has with us.
Played out of position, rated by the fans but messed around by management.
He says his best spell there was when he was played as an emergency striker.

i watched the game
town 3-0 up at half time after 3 chances all very good goals though
edwards started at the back and seemed to be the main playmaker at times wilkinson seemed better with his head than his feet harts kicking and reflexes have improved a lot, couple of very good saves he came for every cross, although got nowhere near a few and poor finishing saved him smith came on and seemed more intent on working on his flicks and tricks than simple passes street scored a shot, header and a pen
most others did nowt special basically hull were rubbish

I feel very sorry for Street. He scores three yesterday and is probably our most creative midfielder when played in his proper position in the centre. Yet he can't even get on the subs bench for first team games. GP seems prepared to give Darby and Challis a chance - even though they are transfer-listed - so why not Street?
