Christmas has been brilliant this year! Started on the Sunday before with Carols by Candlelight- then a lovely family Christmas dinner at The Falcon in Hinstock - 10 of us- the Griffiths, the Mayhews and one Nillsonn from Sweden(don't ask!!!! - oh, he's male, by the way!) Then Boxing Day at Gay Meadow with two grandchildren- youngest one's first game. In Hinstock till Sunday- back to Billinge- with grandchildren- them to the Pantomime (Oh! Yes- I did!) What will make the holiday complete is if Mr Wiggy will agree to take me to Northwich. Now what can I do to persuade him? .

Any time spent away from work is time profitably spent.

one of the best christmas's ever for me. spent it in 36 degree heat eating and drinking round a pool. tinged slightly by the fact I am 12,000 miles from family and friends (except for the family here of course) Off to Sydney tonight to do a harbour cruise and watch the NYE fireworks/lightshow. its a bit warm though
