Twice on the trot now that the all powerful/richest club in the world havent made it through to the last eight of the European Cup...I wont call it the Champs league I hate that name How can a team who finish anything other than top of their league be called a champ?

I'd love Liverpool to beat them somewhere along the way. Young Mikey Owen should pay attention, and notice that a bigger club, who progress further in Europe, would like him back next season.

But note two English teams are through to the last eight. Thats two more than Goofy Ronaldinhio said. Of course he should know playing in the all powerful La Liga. And how many Spanish teams are left in the Champions League

So just lets get this right, Shrek moved from Toxteth to Manchester for £27,000,000 in search of a team who could go places in the Champions league Were him and Savage in the same class for geography

Good result for Liverpool. Think they have certainly suprised everyone getting so far...can't see them getting any further, mind. I think they had the best draw and will struggle against the other teams left in the comp...

Look at who's left for Liverpool to play:
Inter or Porto....winnable Chelsea...iffy AC Milan...wont beat them Bryan Munich...winnable Juventus...iffy PSV...winnable
They'll hope for PSV I reckon

JP...have to disagree with that our kid. Most teams left in the comp are doing very well in their own leagues...in not top then close...Liverpool are not and will struggle against most of the other sides left in the comp...
I think the best draw would be against the winner of the Inter v Porto game...I think if that get that draw they may have a chance....

I dunno Stutty, I just have this gut feeling Liverpool can win the cup. They seem to have drifted through un-noticed out of the other English sides. This last round draw was favourable to them, it could be again.

Juventus, Milan, Liverpool, PSV Eindoven, Bayern Munich, Lyon and Inter or Porto
The only team to look out of place in the last eight is Chelsea
