Is it possible to register a dog with the kennel club without knowing who its parents were?

Kickin, my missus says you have to have full history of the dog to find out...a sort of family tree.
Daft as it may seem try a search on the net.

Cheers JP, i thought as much. looks like both parents have to be KC registered.
I brought a Cavalier King charles spanial out of the sloppy star a few months ago but it wasnt KC reg, shes a real beauty and i was thinking of breeding from her but if i cant get her KC reg, it may be a problem when selling some of the pups.

Tomorrow I'll have a word with a friend of mine, she works for the Greyhound Rescue, she knows everything there is to know about dogs, I'll leave you a message if I find anything that maybe helpful for you.

I didn't think women like dogs and then I went to Liquid, were 90% of the women were indeed dogs, with 5% trolls and 5% normal humans

Knock off 1% of the trolls, I walked through Liquid the other night to get some NYE tickets, and I have long hair and may have been misidentified during your survey

Right- I don't know but I know someone who almost certainly will- my daughter, Jo and son- in- law, Chris who live in Hinstock- breed Shelties and they also do some judging at Dog shows. You could mail them at Chris & Jo@sandwick.net - and mention me! (Pauline- alias Wiganshrew- alias Jo's mother!) If you can't grt hold of them letme know and I'll ask when I next speak to them- and let you know.
