Someone once said that nothing gives as much pleasure as an old friend fallen on hard times, not that I would agree However, my Mum had saved a piccy for me from the Shropshire Star which showed an old school friend receiving some award or other. This guy was known for his (imagined) attraction for the ladeez and was inordinately proud of his long wavy hair (this was the '60's). In the photo he was bald as a billiard ball and looking at least 10 years older than me. Oh, the joy! Then I turned the page to find an article about another old pal who had been sent down for glassing a guy in a pub.

I'm also guilty of getting pleasure from bad things. I.E. A picture of gregor rioch stuck to my dart board and throwing darts at the pic. The bad thing is i don't even like darts the pleasure was completed when i got one in each eye.
