Yesterday I was talking with a friend who is an aspiring film director about Wrexham's predicament. Well, to cut a long story short, he reckons that Alex Hamilton is in talks with Shrewsbury Council in regards to Gay Meadow - and your proposed new ground. I only remembered this late at night - you know how it is - something just springs to mind. You can check out the whole thread on Red Passion red-passion.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2331Just consult the council and ask their strategic planning executive if there has been any interest blah blah blah..

consult the council and ask their strategic planning executive.. Sperson That phrase shows a little naivety re SABC - the words planning and strategic in the same sentance I reckon that one is way off the mark.

Really? We (Wrexham fans) knew about Alex hamilton 18-months before the press announced his arrival. Wrexham Maelor Borough Council has a chief strategic planning officer called Paul Roberts... If my friend has heard something about Hamilton & Shrewsbury Council, I'd at least check it out if I was you... Yours sincerely he he he

In no way ment to offend, FBS, and as ever we are grateful for alerting us Just that SABC planning is still a dinasour - planning decisions are still by a double figured committee of councillors - the word strategic in there is laughable.

No offence taken ;D I'll ask my friend for more details when I see him. Maybe today hopefully. You all will be the first to know! Alex Hamilton has stated that he has desires to"get involved" with other clubs. He is also involved in a multi-million pound retail development just outside Mold. There's no harm in asking S Council questions is there? After all, the fans of STFC voted 'em in didn't they?

another rumour going around.. but I kind of want to believe it...
councillors insist that the old pub on Smithfield Road was turned into a wine bar - now SOHO and not a bikers smoking, pool table, fruit machine establishment.
It was an eye sore when they looked out of their new office windows
allegedly / apparently....
