On his way from Brighton to Ipswich for £250,000. Could be a Prem player inside 6 months then!

Its what happen when a player falls out with a manager = "look what we might have got" King let him go for nothing

Dunno for certain, but funny how there has never been a problem with him elsewhere. I met him once when he was staying at Stitch's old place up Radbrook and he just said he wanted off as King didnt like him.

Let's just say that Darren had a bit of a poor attitude in training. Jake didn't appreciate it, told him so and instead of DC getting his head down and knuckling down, he sulked instead. Jake let him go as a result.

He could have joined Stoke from west ham instead of joining us. All he had to do was put extra work in on the training ground to improve his speed and acceleration.
He decided to join us.
He was barnets star man for a couple of years, did a decent job at wycombe and has been brilliant for Brighton this season.
Not surprised he's got a move to a better club, always had the ability, he's obviously added the work ethos, not surprised he has worked well under Mark McGee and Lawie Sanchez....

He's just turned 30, so maybe he's decided that it's time to realise his potential.
I'd forgotten he went to Plymouth from STFC and from there to Barnet.

The PFA handbook confirms the £70k fee.

It is true that Jake didn't want Darren and his alleged drug problem around our Youth team! I can't say I blame him.
