Buy a crap cold pie, and watch in disappear as we lose 1-0 in one of the most boring matches, and cold weather, before leaving for our cars thoroughly disenchanted???

Isnt the local B&Q near by? You could all pop in and see there wonderfull range of pastel shades, available in matt and silk finishes. Alternatively, me my son and brother are fishing tomorrow at connahs quay (just up the road). If you like the smell of squid and would like to join us you are more than welcome ;D

I know a hotel with a good real ale bar, not too far from the station, which will prob have the football on, but it is still a long way from the ground.
Are you going on the train ? If so which one are you getting ?

It's the bar of a posh hotel on the canal (Mill Hotel , I think). Has 10/12 real ales on, but I'm sure there is lager.
TV is usually on Sky, but no sound. I have usually been there in the summer, and seen the cricket on the tv.

I remember going on the train to chester v the shrews about 7-8 years a ago. On the way back the train was absoulutely jam packed. We arrived at wrexham and hell broke out! Several members of the EBF ran to the doors to shout abuse to people on the platforms and in return a brick was thrown at the train smashing a window! Hell was it cold on the way back! never forget that day, was quite frightening for a 13 year old!

that's b*uggered the thread width up! Last match at Chester we ended up in a SuperBowl or something in the retail park on the other side of the Sealand Rd to the ground (nearly called it a Stadium then : - it had quite a large drinking lounge - not sure about Sky for the footy tho.
