I went to the travel agency based at Gobowen railway station, and it was class! I've played a few hockey games at Lilleshall and yes it's where the england team train sometimes, aand all the youth sides use it as well as the cricket teams. a top facility, if u get in there you have got one mint placement!

I never did workks experience, no such thing, but my daughter worked for her works experience at a scuba dive centre, tied in very nicely with one of her hobbies.
Since work though, I had to do work experience of a kind, whilst working towards a teaching certificate, I went back to my old school (the grange) to teach some kids about the weather in geography.
I wouldn't like to teach kids.

Also did 2 weeks at STFC, mostly doing the tasks of the YT's but did a few training sessions with the first team Remember the first team strikers were having shooting practice but no goalkeepers were about so I stupidly volunteered to go in - the likes of Steele, Kerrigan, Devon White didn't appreciate a 15 year old work experience boy taking the mickey out of their wayward shooting The best part was when they had to do volleys from the edge of the area and hardly one went on target so I was doing the "is that all you've got", Steele says "can you do any better" and I hit the sweetest volley of my life into the bottom corner ... what made it even sweeter was the rest of the first team come walking past Also had 3 weeks in Brussels when at SCAT, a 3 week p!ss up basically, didn't realise the local brew was Stella

Only one week in my day. I worked a week at the Halifax Building Society in Shrewsbury. It was pretty boring - mostly typing addresses or opening the ATM deposit envelopes to check the money inside. The highlight was afternoon tea - a lady used to come round the office with a tea tray with cream cakes and all. Bet they don't do that anymore.

I went to work in a factory on Halesfield. I came home very night with a thumping headache from the machines and swore to my parents that a factory life was not for me. 8 months later, I joined the company from School as a lab technician and stayed there for the next 5 and a half years! Had some great times there , but never looked back since I left

Spent a week at Yorkshire Bank in Burton. Loved every second of it, really wanted to go into banking back then so it was superb. Then when I was of working age, my Dad got me a job for my current boss and worked for him ever since, except for a year I didn't.

went to a computer company in Shrewsbury (i forget the name) but they hadnt paid their electric bill and were cut off on my second day so i didnt really get to do very much they'd also bought loads of laptops in on the cheap from Italy only to find out that when they arrived all the keys like Caps lock were in Italian it was also the week when someone had sent his laptop in to be fixed in a jiffy bag!! suffice to say it arrived in pieces and when asked why he had posted it in an envelope his explanation was that it hadnt told him not to in the manual happy days...
