Dan F has written a piece on the history of STFC on the internet. Apologies for not posting this until now, but I hope you all enjoy it, it should be interesting reading for those who have only been on the net for a short while (or even those who have been around for much longer shrewsburytown.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=969&p=2&stid=8367496Cheers

Nice of Mr Francis to give credit to the person who founded the best thing that ever happened to B&A Seriously, I've never thought it would end up so big I used to like the Terrace Talk site, they had one or two interactive games on there as well if I remember, Kenneth's Swedish Shrews (now Scandinavian Shrews) site has been going strong for four or five years at least. For a small club we have a great online community

I was thinking back to the first meet-up of the online mail list - I got back to March 1997 vs Plymouth. Ian came up from London with friend, Rob Jones I think, and a couple of others, including a Plymouth fan. Anthrobus scored, but Plymouth scored with a couple of minutes left.
Does anyone know of a meet-up before March '97?

Does anyone know of a meet-up before March '97? I remember meaning to attend one on boxing day 1996 but didn't make it to Shrewsbury in the end, don't think that was the first either. The classic old "I'm (IanWhit) the one in the coat with a Norway flag on the back". Wish I could log on to my old college account and read all those old messages, remember having about 2000 to go through in 96 because I hadn't been on over the summer - those were the days, be more than that on here now ;D Thanks for the kind words all
