He's got to go after last night. I think we've got a worse side than when we got relegated last time. Only Kidder, Cambridge and Rushden can save us - pick any two of these four. I think we may just survive - Kidder and Rushden to go down for me.

give him time and I'm sure Peters will bring some quality players to the club.

How can we make predictions when there are only 9 points separating the 16 teams directly above us?

"Only 9 points" It may as well be 90 the way we're playing at the moment.
Make no bones about it - third from bottom would be a successful season for us - I'd take that if it was offered now ....

Sorry Joe, I agree with that. What I meant was the teams going down - impossible to predict that at this early stage

Apology accepted. I can't ever remember feeling so p**sed off so early in the season. Still three wins on the bounce and we'll all be smiling - can't see it though.

Like I said, I'm giving him another 7 games before I pass judgement. If he's gonna make a difference we should/must se at least signs of improvement by his 10th game in charge. If were still in trouble (and given Gary's non-contract status) then we should re-asses. With Ratcliffe we did'nt act AT ALL-I'm still furious we failed to sack him, remember in the lead up to relegation we were promised by Sayfritz 'one hell of a party when we stay up'...I had given up all hope some weeks before. I'll be damned if we make the same mistakes this time. Thats said give him a decent stretch of time before we start calling for his head, like an old boy standing behind me said last night: 'just because you change the organ grinder don't mean you get an new bunch of monkeys '

Poor old Gary has been landed with the dross that Quinn left and it wouldn't surprise me if he walked sooner rather than later when the gravity of the problem sinks in. He needs to sign at least four new players. But do we have the cash and do we have the time for them to fit in?

'just because you change the organ grinder don't mean you get an new bunch of monkeys ' Plato has spoken Very true, far to early to be even thinking about getting rid of Peters.

personally i think most of the squad should be put on the transfer list, not that anyone would take them.

Pre-season I predicted we would finish 22nd, and that I would be delighted with it. I actually now think we could do abit better with Peters at the helm. I'd still have prefered Mark Atkins though

A huge challenge that Gary has accpeted. We all need to pull together and keep supporting the lads. Unfortauntely he has what he has in the existing squad and he will know what the limitations of the players are. We do need to see an big improvement in the next six games or we will get stranded again at the bottom.
