A good game played on a nice surface (even if we did have to use 2xhockey goals on an 11-a-side pitch  ) ASFC went 2-0 down before getting back to be 3-2 up. However sloppy defending saw them conceed 3 more before pulling a late goal back. |

Aye, not a bad performance but dissapointing we didn't hold onto the lead. Rochdale are a good bunch and a very well drilled side. Roll on Tranmere.

Absolute bloody rubbish. Hope the crowd gave you what for. This new manager is just the same as the last. Defence needs sorting. We need some new players. Get your chequebook out Chris Wynne. etc. etc.  |

Baring in Mind, we played on Rubber, and in s**tty goals and only for 35 mins not a bad game – hopefully was can play them on grass at there as I think we would have the beating of them – we played a lot of nice balls for a grass surface last night – but they kept running away from us.

Same for both sides.
I think the surface was pretty decent to be honest, the ball rolled well, and it wasn't too harsh to run on either.

No excuses, they were the better side but not by much. Yes the conditions were not perfect but the different variations make you a better player and we didn't adapt quick enough to these conditions.
I think Saturday will be a good test as I think they were missing a few players last time.

I am not at all worried that in our last 5 games we have only won once whilst losing three times. We should have won them all 10-0 and I would like to give Gerry the boards complete backing and place a vote of confidence in him ;D Phew, I am offline now? Thank heavens for that. I think they all brought it fellow committee members. Right, now where did I put Stan Ternant's phone number? WHAT?? I'm still online?? Bugger!!  |
