Who are you looking forward to seeing again this Christmas time? Miss TBH has returned from studying so is now in Shrewsbury, and having seen her twice in 8 weeks that makes me a really very happy bunny ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Christmas is always a good time to see my brother as well, we're both so busy now it is difficult to keep track so that is good On Christmas Eve we tend to have a gathering of basically old Junior School friends, plus various wives / girlfriends / college friends etc etc. Always a brilliant event, as we catch up on divergent, exciting lives Who are you looking forward to seeing and why?

We have only got my brother-in-law coming over, which is excellent news. Normally he has either my mother-in-law or father-in-law with him. This will be much more of a laugh. he is also someone who understands the value of a decent playstation session.

Usually go and see my sister-in-law in Holywell, North Wales, for a pre-Christmas family get-together. She's great- we get on really well. Down to Hinstock for Christmas day with daughter, Jo, son-in-law, Chris and 2 out of 3 grand-wiggies, Chris's dad, who's on his own, Mr Wiggy, other daughter Marie- and boyfriend. Hope to see my Auntie Marian in Telford sometime- she's a great inspiration. Widowed early, no kids, hasn't had a happy life, really- but she's irrespressibly cheerful, has a great sense of humour- and has a young outlook. (Great role-model for me- I'm a whinger!!! ) Hope to see my cousins sometime. One lives in Newport (Shropshire) and one in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. Both VERY much more affluent than us- we're the poor relations!! 2 staff dinners- one my "leaving do" at The Dyslexia Centre. Reunion with old friend and colleague Glynys (Welsh name- and she is Welsh!) Sort of friend I don't see for ages- then when I do, I seem to "pick up where I left off" - and feel as if we meet everyday. I've got the sort of friends that make you feel good after seeing them. I'm VERY well-blessed for good friends - and that goes for new Shrews friends, too!!! Sad thing at Christmas- no parents on either side, now. You miss them at Christmas, especially.

Wiggy, you just reminded me of the old Harry Enfield sketch there. Do your relatives from Willenhall constantly remind you that they are 'considerably richer than YOW'?

Actually- it's my cousin's husband, in Newport who speaks more Yam-Yam Lingo!! He says "Yow"!! The other one, in Tettenhall, and her husband, speak "received pronunciation"- even say "barth" as in "Our Barthroom is ten times bigger than yours!!" And he drives one of those Morgans- "hand-made" in Malvern, I believe! They're O.K, though!!!
