Hmmmmmmm.......
Dont know the bloke or anything about him apart from what I've read in the press(quite abit) and what I remember watching in his famous grilling on TV by The Princess of Darkness.
Didnt like what I saw on TV and certainly havent liked anything I've read in the papers.
Must'nt judge a fellow before all the evidence is out but personally I dont like"Ambulance Chasers" full stop, not an ethical livelyhood in my book and having sat near him a couple of times in the Stand I'm damn sure I would'nt buy a used car off the geezer.
Still we shall see wont we,but if he is proven to be guilty of any shady goings on I for one would not want him associated with my Club in any shape or form.............

Colin poole = extremely intelligent man who found a way to get rich quick.
Moraly not correct IMO but I'll give the guy credit where it is due. I wish I could come up with an idea like his

I wish I could come up with an idea like his I totally disagree I disagree with anyone who preys on the vunerable and conducts business in an unethical fashion If he goes down it will be for ripping off shareholders, not for his business practices themselves

I totally disagree I disagree with anyone who preys on the vunerable and conducts business in an unethical fashion If he goes down it will be for ripping off shareholders, not for his business practices themselves Since when has business really been ethical? I'm not condoning the morality of the way Mr Poole made his money however, he did it in a very intelligent way.

A pimp makes money in a very intelligent way, by preying on the vunerable.
Business can be ethical Phil, sure, there are shades of grey, there are many many cases of people needing to duck and dive a bit to make a bit of money
That is not what we are talking about
He may well get sent down for this, it is not just a bit of ducking and diving

This isn't a case of whether or not Mr Poole made money ethically or not.
There are far bigger issues here

The tip of the iceburg this. You wait until the rest comes out I was somewhat sceptical when he was appointed, didn't seem to be the sort STFC needed to be associated with.
