Already got their Xmas decorations up? Our street is starting to look quite festive, and although we shall be taking part, I think its too early. Probably put the outside lights up next weekend and get Amy and Haz to do the tree etc. then too. Still struggling with ideas for the missus's present Married for 24yrs and completely out of ideas!

No none at all. May do it this weekend. Finished Christmas shopping off yesterday with a visit to Meole Brace Retail Park. Never bought the wife a Christmas present so why break a habit of 26 years now ;D Anyone travelling through Harmer Hill going for Ellesmere check out the last two properties before the chapel. Should I get a council tax reduction for having to live opposite that for 2 months

Always ptu our decorations up first weekend in December. They come down before New Year's day though.
Don't mind them before hand but hate them once it's past Boxing Day.

I don;t do christmas decorations
I may do something when I have kids, but they are just a waste of time or money otherwise
my parents house will be all made up and I'll be there on the day itself

I just dont do Xmas makes things alot easier.......... role on Boxing Day I say........... Soon as I saw your name on the last post I expected the post to say "Bar Humbug". I do agree with you, it is my least favourite time of teh year. I don't mind Christmas Day with the family but I hate the build up.

the thing I don't like is the crass commercialism
I got a letter from a loan company the other day with a picture of a family in front of a tree saying
" do you want your loved ones to have what they deserve this Christmas"
and offering me an unsecured loan up to £5 grand
It is disgusting
