Anyone see the highlights of the Palace, Charlton match?

Tony Popovic looks to be through on goal just outside the Palace box and is pulled back by Shaun Bartlett, the lino flags. Ref ignores the lino then books the Charlton players for protesting and asking him to speak to his assistant

What is the point of having linos if the ref just ignores them? I hope the assessor does something to sort out Mr Messias - prima donna!!

You get them at Sunday League level as well. I got into a right good argument with a ref yesterday as he ignored all of my offside calls. I dont cheat as it winds me up when other teams do, but even where a player was 4-5yds off he was waving them on. Their striker was really lippy and he was just going with his call.

I questioned him after and the ref just said that he was in control of the game and if he thought he was right he would go with that. I know he has the whistle but I was justifying every decision I made and he just ignored it

we won 6-1 so I felt a lot better later ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
