Just come back, managed to get Amy to go in the end (must be all that charm and witt i poses )

Weren't too bad, quite good in parts, however they did trash teenage kicks (by the undertones) and boys are back in town (by thin lizzie)

Dont think I'd go again, however the London Astoria is a quality venue, and i plan on going again sometime soon.

Think i prefered thier support act, which was called something like "right answer" (they were northan irish) the lead singer sounded a bit like Dylan (mid 60s form) sort of a blusey/indie feel.

Shame it was £3.20 for a can of carling
Stella was over £4 (for a can!!!! )

Still a class venue and 1billion times better than anything that masterful town Reading has to offer

Astoria has always been a great venue.

Saw Pulp there (before they were famous), with Boo Radleys and Sultans of Ping FC supporting for £5 many many moons ago. Not the best venue in London though, thats definately the Brixton Academy

Deffo a good place to go for a gig - agree that Brixton academy is the best in London....

I hear that fagin is planning to go to that legendary club night they have there on a Friday....

Astoria is cracking, i do like Brixton, but with such a big venue, i dnt like the Q's for the bar, i like the fact u can go up stairs in the Astoria to watch the support and stand behind the old style terrace bars, n then stroll downstairs for the main event, n i dont mean when the YMCA comes on!
