Well Baring in Mind “Man vs Machine” was a let down after “Restless” and the same can be said for Luda’s “Chicken and Beer” after ”Word of Mouf” I would say that they both defiantly back on form – Luda has defiantly gone back to what he does best with just straight part tracks and no airs of being a gangster (but still a pimp!!) best track on that album probs “2 Miles an Hour” As for X takes his direction back to tracks with meaning like the 1st and 2nd Albums – but the beats are most defiantly Restless like which is good, Best track on this one “motherf***er” and “beware of us” And you get a free DVD with the Album called the making of Mass destruction which is pretty good (Little Jon did the same thing with Crunk Juice) I would say as artisits they have both taken a step forward rather and stood still like the last albums. In fairnes to the thread - who cares!!!

didn't expect such a discussion on hip hop but there you go!! You boys need to get yourself over to napa, flaming sambucas and hip hop beats all round loads of good sons mentioned but as whitters said no great stuff this year only lots of good ones. I cant think of a song that i think has been a tune and a half. some of my faves of the year are:- marroon 5 (though a bit like a chilli peppers tribute band) damien rice britneys toxic (good pop record) usher - yeah (was played in every bar relentlessly in napa this summer) outkast - hey ya robbie - radio (the man makes me money, i have to like it!!) natasha bedingfield - These words (are stuck right in my ****in head and i now can't escape!!)

Like riverside I am going to have to go with Morrissey's Irish Blood English Heart. Just can't knock a Morrissey song.
Others that have been on par with that have been:
Kasabian: Club Foot Ian Brown: Solarized
Best ablem eith goes to Mr Ian Brown or Green Day
