Watched various games over the weekend and what annoyed me most was the little petty things which players seem to get away with such as:
Players waving an imaginary card at the ref so he will book one of the opposition
Players who stand over the ball on free-kicks so the opposition can't take then quickly
Players who try and let the ball run out for a goal kick and obstruct the opposition - anywhere else on the pitch it would be a foul
Is there anything you see in games you wish the ref would take action against?

When players run the ball into a corner late on in order to preserve a lead, giving the opponent no choice but to either commit a foul or give away a corner/throw in. You pay good money to watch FOOTBALL, not some guy standing by the ball like a dick.

Divers. Especially the likes of Ronaldo who gets away with it time and time again.

Defenders who get away with obstruction when 'shepherding the ball out'. Defenders who get away with standing over a dead ball to stop it being taken quickly. (Why is this different from kicking it away? It has the same effect.) 'No Surrender'. Jamie Tolley's corners. (Slightly O/T) Gary Richardson's stupid, smarmy, smug, self-satisfied, arrogant, ignore-the-previous-answer questions on Sportsweek on 5-Live. People who moan about things that annoy them.

Totally agree about shepherding the ball out for a goal kick - definitely obstruction IMO. Also all the manhandling that goes on in the penalty area - especially from corners - arms around the opposition etc. Very rarely penalised - yet blatant fouls committed.

I hate forwards that stand in front of the keeper. ps I love drop kicking the ball at them though At local level i really hate weak officials selfish managers who play themselves or mates instead of the best team flat footballs cheating linesmen who dont know the rules losing no grass on pitches dog muck on the pitch no showers

You pay good money to watch FOOTBALL, not some guy standing by the ball like a dick. Wish we did that a bit more often to gain points. If we'd done it 2 years ago instead of trying to play football for a full 90 mins I'm sure we would have stayed up.

A player goes down injured after being fouled and the team with the injured player have to spend time with less players on the pitch .....fookin daft! You've pinched mine! I would add that I would change the rules so that the player who committed the foul would have to stay off the pitch for the same lenght of time as the player who was injured. While on injuries, the way players lie down for every little knock. I was taught never to show an opponent that you had been hurt because it showed weakness and was not manly. Rolling around in agony was indulged in only by poufs and (even worse) foreigners.

Stewards, Ambulance people and coppers that don't bother to kick the ball back to the keeper when there are no ballboys
