Knackers
I thought a striker shortage would be the least of our worries this year.
Watts must stay

Seem to remember a couple of days (a week?) ago JQ saying that he had been looking for a big striker. With Watts already apparently at least third choice striker, I guess it didn't really give him much confidence in his future here. Personally I think it's bad. We don't have anybody who can deal with balls in the air up front. A worrying development if you ask me.

Watts wants off, he doesnt hang about after games, he heads towards his car before we get out of the car park. Something tells me he doesnt mix.

I think the same JP.
However, it's up to the manager to man-manage him correctly as he should be a real asset to this club - he's the only player we have capable of holding the ball up.
We've failed. Very disappointed.

I'm very dissapointed with the news that Watts will be leaving us.
And the news about Luke isn't the best either.
I guess it will mean a Town line-up tomorrow of
Howie
Moss Ridler Tinson Rioch
Jagielka? Tolley Bell Aiston
Lowe Cramb
On another note who will JQ be looking in to replace Watts? Because we certainly need someone to be challenging Cramb for a starting place.
PS Odds on Watts signing for Dagenham? Pretty darn good I'd say.

So Watts was injured last Saturday ?
He obviously has the hump because he wasn't starting, and now he's off. D&R must be favourites, after losing Stein.

now we need a big striker, he doesn't have to be skillful, as long as he can win the ball, muscle off defenders and generally trample all over defences thats what we need. much like beadle for barnet, not the best player but won thee ball made it hard for defenders ect. in this league its ok to play preety but we need a bit of power up front.
