Why do we get so attached to cars?
I had a scary moment the other week when mine got broken in to and someone ripped off the steering wheel - snapping the steering column in the process.
But the local scrapyard came through and "The Tank" is still on the road.

I love my car
It is the car I learned in, a car I have had for seven years, my first car and my only car
I shall be sad when it dies, but it can;t be far off now. There is moss growing in the door frames and it is leaking through the floor somewhere

My wife was saying 'Scr@pe the wreck' and I am saying 'NO I will put it right' The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Mark Twain And so it has proved with the cow car ;D Plug lead burnt out and some rather knackered spark plugs. Were on the road again ;D But the wife wants me to get a new(ish) one. One Ford Escort for sale, one careful lady owner, one nutty male owner Right a soak in the bath to get all this oil off
