Albie claims that he had to go off an try and become an MP in Wales as the Conservatives "needed my Welsh speaking ability and media skills" and thats why he lost his Shrewsbury Council seat. If the Conservatives need Albie's media skills then they really are in trouble! Albie have you ever heard the phrase "When your in a hole stop digging"?

Far tooooooooo long, but highlights are So Mr Maddox thinks that snide attacks about my losing elections are constructive to the Gay Meadow debate. Mr Maddox sneers that I am not in touch with the will of the people of Shrewsbury.............. For Mr Maddox to call me an "Oppertunist Politician" is a bit ripe...... Mr Maddox attitude is what happens in a dictatorship...... Get the picture

To quote DelBoy, Albie is a "twonk". He is still prattling on about how there are far more residents of Sutton against New Meadow, than there are for it. I have quite a few friends in that ward, some of whom have no interest in football, and others who nothing about football, ( they are Wolves fans ). The general concensus of opinion, is that roughly half the residents want New Meadow, and possibly 40% don't care/ aren't interested either way. The remaining 10% are against the development, but my friends tell me that some of these have been brainwashed by the lies and scaremongering tactics, by the handful of retired colonels, busy-bodies etc., that make up SARA. The only undisputed fact about the residents of Sutton, is that the majority did not want dear old Albert to represent them on the Borough Council. Oops, I forgot that by using his previously aired logic, anyone who doesn't vote, automatically becomes one of his sympathisers.

Superb letter Pete. As a former resident of "The Hill" I can only say that I am ashamed that he is linked with the place. It seems that Albie thinks that his views are so important they MUST be the views of any right minded citizen. He hasn't seemed to learn.
Voting talks and bulls**t walks.

For goodness sake why doesn't this idiot just shut up and move on. Fact - we have a new meadow. Fact - he lost the argument (as well as his seat). Fact - he is not an MP in Wales. Fact - everyone is sick of him.

Albie could yet emerge at Telford & Wrekin - there are plenty more idiots for him to prattle onto there.
Most of them havn't got a clue what the people want either.

I love it as he continually seeks to blame everyone else for his own demise. Apparently he lost his seat in the Sutton / Reabrook ward because he gave himself unstintingly to the Tory party to fight lost cause Welsh seats. He also states he had to make unpopular decisions such as the drainage problems round the Grove. Actually Albie, I was on your ward. Chocolate teapot and fireguard springs to mind. You never represented my views, nor anyone else I know in Leamore Cres. You were so far wide of reality it was unreal. John Tandy immediately got onto the drainage problems and came up with the real facts, which included a protective covenant stating the residents would not be responsible for the making good of a problem caused by the builders. You just sat back and said "tough sh*t" - you the householder have got to pay for it You continually tried to stuff down my and my neighbours throats that New Meadow was detrimental to our properties. GET REAL MUPPET - we live closer to Gay Meadow than New Meadow Finally, whilst you continue to write letters that show you up to be the out of touch ill informed person you are, John Tandy continues to represent us like a real local councillor should. He continues to send out regular newsletters (not like some I could mention that just appear before an election : and in 6 months he has managed to achieve more for his constituents than messrs Banks and Fox did in all their years elected. Fighting the real issues such as phone masts, drainage problems, lighting, suspect new housing applications from builders. NOT, fanciful lies and half truths on a much needed new football stadium.

Tis a good point lads. Don't think I could put all of it as a lot is down to personal opinion. Personally the guy did not represent me or my thoughts. A lot of it is about opinions.
The guy is a loser in my books, the guy has lost. Let him fade into the obscurity where he belongs.

Just another follow up to my post yesterday. Fact - you can tell he's not a Shrews fan - he doesn't know how to lose gracefully - we have had plenty of practice!!!!
Perhaps it's time to let the matter and him drop - if we send in another letter, he will feel duty bound to reply with more drivel and on and on it will go.
