Hello all On Sunday I will be dressing up as a Santa and running/walking/drinking my way around the 4.5 mile course in Newtown with about 3,000+ others. Last year I raised about £100 for the Male Everyman Cancer charity and Newtown Dial-a-ride (who provide transport for the local elderly and disabled. This year I'm doing it for the Primary Immuno-deficiency Association (http://www.pia.org.uk/) as well as Dial-a-ride, and for any of you who fancy contributing a quid or two to it, I'll be about with my sponsor form at 5-a-side tomorrow, the vets massacre on Saturday and in the Telepost next Tuesday night. I'm doing the Santa Run this weekend too - over 5,000 will be there so plenty of chance of stopping for refreshment along the way..... providing you run straight to the nearest bar ;D |

Well, Welsh Shrew and Mrs Welsh Shrew (to be) have arrived safely in Newtown together with masses of similarly clad people.
