I know theres an argument that if you fill the corners the pitch suffers ? But i feel it creates a good atmosphere, take a look at some of the sc***horpe pics of there ground, what do you think ? www.stfc.fotopic.net/c353958.html

its all a question of cash though Id LOVE the stadium to resemble Gillingham or a mini Geona where there are tower blocks in the corners - however each of these cost about an extra million since the plans for the stadium were released.. how many years have we been waiting..? The price of steel has rocketed through the roof. The stadium will be the first to be built under the diasbled act and although Im obviously all for wheel chair access, the ground requires lifts and vantage points in all four sides of the stadium. There are no grants available. This all costs. corners of the stadium are substantially more expensive than a main stand because of construction costs and logistics I think we should just be grateful we are leaving the meadow and moving on into somewhere new and modern. Scoreboards, huge social clubs etc can be built on at a later date but anyway telfordshrew - yes corners are better !

Corners of grounds are good if you can fill em, this i think we will be unable to do unless we are riding high in div 1, even that isnot guarenteed, lets get crowds near 9,500 week in week out then discuss the merits

I hope we're not going to have those girders in the way
How come you've managed to get into the changing rooms to take some pictures?

At the moment we're virtually a 3 sided ground anyway. Could we build the social club in one of the corners? Build a balcony on the roof and that way you could have a drink while watching the match. (You'd have to pay to get in there, same as the rest of the ground mind)

Filled in corners are ok in big grounds, but I much prefer smaller grounds to have four seperate stands. That Sc***horpe ground looks like a biscuit tin and it seems pointless to pay to fill in the corners when they just contain ad boards.
