Myself and a work colleague are looking a ebay trading and believe this to be in exchange for payment, he/she will supply you with contacts of manufacturers in the Far East, such places as China where you can enquire as a company for big quantities but demand a sample before ordering.
This is general practice in a lot of business when ordered large quantities from China/India etc.
Not a path i would take personally as an individual, more hassle than its worth.

but what i dont understand is why???
everyone knows about ipods, I'd hazzard a guess that ipods will be the number one Christmas seller this year.
So why would companies hand out samples???

There will be a lot of Chinese companies out there who are fighting for the business of supplying into Europe and the United Kingdom. Probably a lot will be cr@p quality too, Apple Ipod is an example but i wouldn't mind betting that isn't the brand you'd get. We have all sorts of items copied in China and has been known for some to brand the item with a top name, which of course is illegal. Just an idea into it anyway. If you decide to go ahead, let us know

You get what you pay for with ebay. His feedback is hardly perfect either. If that 'auction' was reported to ebay they would pull it as they are not allowed.

hhhm well i am entrigued. Don't suspect for a minute it will work, but these sort of auctions have always puzzled me. I'm going to have a bid just for the sake of it, so that I can see what its all about. Never know, I might be able to flog the link on

Mrs 123 will want to know all about it!
I expect it will be a complicated means of getting cheap gear that may well prove too difficult. Best of Luck - now do some work!
