Just went to book some embrace tickets.
£17.50 a pop
£1.60 booking fee for each ticket
add on £4.75 for postage and it suddenly becomes stupidly expensive (considering travelling costs)
Any way of getting around the booking and postage charges???

Not too bad considering you'll pay around £45 for the cheapest ticket at Chelsea

Have to say that sounds quite cheap, but then I don't go to many gigs. How does it compare with the cost of seeing other bands live?

Buy the tickets from a booking office in person if possible.
Lower booking fee and no postage.
It'll be worth it!

Its a demonford hall in leicester on a tuesday night. Hardly REM at the City ground, Oasis at Old Trafford or the City Ground. I just find it amazing that nearly a 1/4 of the price is frigging add ons

Only way round it is to go to the box office in person, and pay cash. I know that if you do that at Wolves Civic you only pay face value, otherwise they rip you off

Cost me £16 for Embrace in Wolvo this coming March, I bought in person from the Civic.
I only ever buy in person to save on booking fees, but £16 is abit silly for one band, only cost about £6 to see bands like The Zutons, The Libertines, The Music etc..

I can't believe Embrace are the £16 price range for tickets There just another brit-pop reject Civic and Music Hall are good value for money, just collect the tickects at the door to save on postage (and queues!)

I always find it hard to work out how they can charge 4 different booking fees for 4 tickets when booked to one credit/debit card.
Like you say its a big rip off

Seriously though if you book tickets over the phone for anywhere and if you use a credit card they sting the arse off you! Other than physically go to the box office itself theres not alot you can do!

Im paying +£30 to see Green Day in Milton Keynes in the summer.
Happily pay twice that much!
But I agree paying that for embrace is a bit steep. They can't be that good?
