The story about Martin O'Connor in the Shropshire Star quotes him as saluting Gary Peters for bringing "much-needed organisation and professionalism" to the club. Ouch. Are you listening Jimmy Quinn?

Everyone at the club seems to be saying the same thing. It was one of the things myself and others were harping on about under Quinn. The players now actually practice set pieces and so on. Quinn used to nob off after an hour or so and a few players would elect to stay behind and practice shooting, set pieces or whatever. Jimmy Quinn - licensed premises - few drinks - lack of organisational capabilities REARRANGE AND CHANGE A FEW WORDS TO MAKE INTO A WELL KNOWN SAYING ( ;D

Sorry to remind everyone of this as they are now all heroes for getting the New Meadow off the ground etc BUT............
Didnt "The Board" tell us at the start of Quinns reign that THEY were going to have regular meetings etc and keep an eye on things re organisation and professionalism as they had learnt that they had been too distant whilst KR was in charge.
Good to hear what O'Connor has to say though.I'm told he used to tell friends that he was on the books of "The Dog and Duck" as STFC had as much organisation as a Pub Team under Quinn.
Things can only get better and I have every confidence they will.........
