Sorry to bother you, I've posted this of a few of the Shrewsbury boards but here goes !!!
My daughter is in the process of doing her GCSE’s at school and has been assigned a project to look at whether Shrewsbury Town Football Club would rather stay at Gay Meadow or move to a new location out of town.
What are your views and is this something that is already under discussion ?
We are both Millwall supporters ourselves and I have only been to Gay Meadow once - back in 1985 I think it was and went through the oldest turnstiles around - are they still there ?
Thanks for reading this

Good choice of topic - I did my GCSE Geog coursework on the New Meadow debate although that was 5 years ago.
The New Meadow move is virtually reality now but there's loads that can be done on it to make a good project I'm sure.

No Norway, there is no rat - we are both genuine football supporters and we went though a similar exercise at Millwall about 12 years ago when we moved from the Den.
Thanks to everyone for your support and keep up the goodwork on this meassge board.
It definitely appears that you are committed to your cause as Millwall supporters are to their's
Come on u Lions and Shrews

If you need any further help Patrick the section on the club's official website should give you all the info you require. Alternatively drop another post on here, we're a pretty helpful bunch

Does the Station End have the oldest still working turnstyle in the whole English league? That would be worth a few quid.
