.....for Mitchell today as his team won the tournament at the Coventry City Soccer School. Only let in 2 goals in the four games...watch out Joe Hart! What was your first trophy for, and when? Mine was ballroom dancing aged 7.

I won several piano awards when I was a mere lad about 8/9 etc.
First footy trophy was winning the ASFC player of the year when I was 18 then scoring the winning goal in the Chaos Cup plate final the same year. Not much to boast about but as someone who was too fat to play at a reasonable level until I was 16/17 it meant a lot.

My junior school's football team won some sort of cup competition in the Shrewsbury area a few years ago and I won an old man bowling trophy once too. Not bad for 24 years

I won a little cup for winning a Recitation at an Eisteddfod when I was about 6 years old. 23 years later I can still remember part of the poem. Next one I won was at the age of 18 for being Head Girl... I sound like a right swot. My little trophies looked quite poor in comparison to Welshshrews numerous football trophies!!
