Bex, we all have players we ( not fancy ) think of as our favourite player at our favourite club and time after time these players leave for one reason or another, but another player will take his place

no definitely not, although inconsistent (who isnt ) I felt he was one of the most talented players at our club, and definitely an assett worth keeping hold of.

It's life Chris mate

I do kind of agree that he is one of the old school from 2000-2004 so see your point about the end of an era (albeit not a too happy one!)

I was worried about this the summer after we got relegated.
I thought Rodgers, Tolley, Moss (even Lowe!) were leaving and that it was the beggining of an era of mediocrity for Salop.
Wasn't to be. So we'll have to learn to adapt to seeing someone else in those shirts with the 2 and 17 on the back

Inconsitency mainly....

actually aleix if my memorary serves me it was Kerrigans second goal that looked like it was going to propell us to relegation and then his stinking fist waving celebration in front of us As for Jags, s**te striker moved out wide. Really hard working midfielder who was actually a half decent div3 player, chipped in with a few (not as many as Ryyan mind) goals from midfield. Got injured and wasn't really the same ever again.

I think next season will be the start of a new era. I hope a more successful one than recent years, but that will depend on the players brought in.
It is natural for professional footballers to move on, we are the ones still here supporting whoever is placed in front of us.
Some of the current players have been here much longer than players I remember from the past, and played through some of the worst times in over 50 years without moving on, and it is probably time for a change.
