Adagio is a striker quite similar to Luke Rodgers in terms of height and pace. Looks a decent player, not sure how far he can go though.

I've seen him a few times this year for the reserves and he's alright, nothing special just alright. Lots of pace but for me he lacks what i would be looking for in a natural finisher. He appears have little spatial awareness, does not have a decent first touch and wants too many chances to score although obviously today it went well for him. I would be very surprised to see him anywhere near the first team for the fore seeable future.

I was hoping someone would tell me a bit more. Not seen any youth or reserve games this year.
Perhaps I might get to this Youth final

Hmmm, not exactly rave reviews, but here's hoping - Vaughan definitely singled out Adaggio on the radio a couple of weeks ago as one Peters rated 'very highly.'
For the benefit of those of us who live elsewhere in the country and so don't get to see the youths and reserves much, who are the young players we should be getting excited about? (Edwards aside, obviously)
Also, what do people make of Lyng and Clampett - do they look good enough to make the step up if need be?

The player that both Dave Edwards and Ciaran Lyng were raving about during the youth cup game last week was Shane Sutton - a centre half. He's only 15 and hasn't left school yet but looked very assured.
