Wouldn't be a massive shock if he left in the summer. His fitness record hasn't been the best again this year and Peters does seem to be revamping the squad.Would anybody care if his replacement is better? I seem to remember a bit of support for Peter Wilding but that went quiet after we saw Tinson play a few games.Fans are fickle.

He started on Cramb then moved onto Lowe.
Whoever he chooses chances are he will not be a Town player for long.

Look Pricey please don't choose Sam, my brothers job at the Dun Cow could be in jeopardy if Sam had to move

what a silly thread
Sam should stay
Even for the single reason that he is the only player in our squad who can actually run past a defender

what a silly thread Sam should stay Even for the single reason that he is the only player in our squad who can actually run past a defender I don't think that level of skill will be required for our style of play next season Dave. I would expect to be watching Lincoln MkII come August. Funny I was only saying this morning at work that I expected Aiston to go at the end of the season (I personally would be gutted as he has improved this last few months).

Would be sad to see Sam go, to me he has been one of the highlights of the past couple of years and one of the few figures down there to really get me on the edge of my seat.
If only his ability to cross the ball matched his ability to run with it, i would happily see peters double the guys wages.

"I don't think that level of skill will be required for our style of play next season Dave. I would expect to be watching Lincoln MkII come August."
I dont think how we are playing now is any indication of how we will play next season, and from what ive heard about Peters at other clubs we'll be playing it on the floor. Saying that you have to be able to mix it up depending on who your playing in this division. Sams been our best player over the last couple of season (maybe Tinson, maybe Moss) and I think a few other clubs will be after him in the summer. I think he'll stay though, Peters will want him and hopefully persuade him to.

I think aiston's crossing has been improving recently so given a whole summer to work with him he could be a lot better player next season

He's very settled in Shrewsbury with his personal life, and that may well help us keep hold of him. ;D ;D ;D

Even for the single reason that he is the only player in our squad who can actually run past a defender so that concludes the case for the defence of the accused ;D

Sam might well go,no longer in his teens sometimes ineffective in games, never a match winner....But an entertainer someone that when you watch them play on the ball makes you want to be in his job.In short the type of player that makes you want to watch what he does, sometimes not the finished article, but then again as our kid says he would not be playing in our league if he did it week in, week out..SAAP
