He adapts according to the opposition. That way he keeps every player on their toes.
On the other hand wouldn't a permanent XI stabilise the side?

I see, no views either way then. Just seen this. Don't know. Up front was what I was expecting, as was the back five. Do you mean the midfield?

I've seen it on an earlier thread that Sedge was injured in training or something- quite legitimate excuse for not selecting him.
Let's face it- if Quinn was still here, we'd be lower than we are now- and we'd have been WELL hammered yesterday.

Rodgers suspended for two games.
Moss sold.
Sedgemore injured. (Although he was left out against Macclesfield.)
He brings in defender on loan and experienced forward. Do you bring these players in and then put them on the bench?
Most of the changes have been forced on him. The only tactical one is leaving out Tinson because he fears his lack of pace will be exposed by a sharp opposition front line.
Quite the reverse. Peters' slection policy is defined by consistency rather than chopping and changing.

Thing is..if the players are as good as we hear then why do we struggle to put out a team, with suspensions and injuries that can be asked to play a different system, follow instructions and get the result without following JQs failed team selection and formation.sometimes the side reads uneasily like the one JQ struggled with before he resigned.

It is substantially the same team.
Ashton and Langmead are the only regular first teamers brought in by Peters.
Before he left Quinny Jim brought in MacGrath, Logan and Fox on loan. Ben Smith was playing regularly before he was injured.
