What a cracking letter in todays chronicle. Excellent!!!!
His lame donkey senario puts it all into perspective perfectley.
Been saying it for ages the board and now all you trust lads should be concentrating on what happens on the pitch and not the new NM.
Put all your energy and focus into a side we again can be proud of and not 'how much terracing will we have' or 'what size will the bar be'
Tony is right. For a number of seasons now the management of STFC have been interested in Real Estate.
I wonder why??

Rob I don't get the chronicle - is there a link you can put up. With reference to our conversation at the last home game the question I asked wasn't answered on the board Q&A as we said - you need to get your cheque book out There's not much going on about the New Meadow at the moment to be honest. But I'm optimistic that we could get a result with the fans' bar at the new ground. And that has only happened because fans have argued their case and not gone away on it. Not just people involved in getting the supporters trust together but people like Chris Smith too. I hope the supporters trust will concentrate on a number of things. Raising money is an important thing as it will add a further reason for the club to listen to it. Things are a little bit desparate at the moment. And the newsflow is probably going to get worse before it gets better - that's been the way of things. Despite Gary Peters' comments the best thing about the club is its fans.

Jonah if Club funds had been diverted away from the team to enable to get us where we are with the New Meadow project then your comments would be valid.
The fact is that Alaska and Jennings have paid for the costs and taken the risks, sure they will end up in profit but that the the nature of the game.
The New Meadow will provide the foundations for the Club to grow.

It has diverted energies and attention though Tim, hoepfully, as you indicate to a good cause, but that is very much in the balance. Frighteningly so.

name me a football club without a redeveloped or new ground who has succeeded?
name me a club which has built a new ground and acquired no debt whatsoever?
soon we will have a new ground and no debt on it, and if a supporter's bar can generate 50k or more towards the team every year then I think it is worth doing

Anthony bloody Page is nothing more than a biggoted t**t and anyone who agrees with him is along the same lines. As a Town fan Jonah you should know better. Do you support the club? want a future for the club? or do you just want to drag along as we are now until the FL decide the meadow isnt suitable for League football anymore and we are either groundsharing or thrown out? Think about it

Well Sean I have to say as I know this prick Page who thinks the one good place for STFC is dead, no STFC fan should ever give him the time of day nevermind agreeing with him.

BTW Page also has interesting thoughts on School children today having it too easy, anybody from council estates are not worth bothering with and a few other bits and pieces.

So Jonah, who is your choice for Chairman. Who is your choice for manager & finally what level of success would you and your thank god, small band of followers see as STFC's future How would you fund developement of GM remembering the council has had it away with the major grants. The cost of disabled facilities has gone threw the roof, or to solve that would you say the same as Page, there are not enough disabled supporters of STFC worth bothering about(that was to my face).
Thankfully there are more people who want to see STFC move forward,on and off the pitch.
