As there is also a player Q&A session down t'meadow that night.
I think I'd rather play footy on Thurs but what do the rest of you think?

Don't think we should schedule something at the same time as the OSC to be honest.
But hey, as I haven't been to most of the games (that'll change as from next month!), think it should be the regulars that decide.

Another night wasted down the meadow listing to players who have struggled most of this year is not near the top of the list of my prioritys for the week. I cna only think of you Gaz Dave that will go from the regulars at the footy?? And with the numbers we had last week and Ant being back we will have enough!!

why 'b******s'? all I said was I thought B&A footy at the same time was a bit counter-productive. on a side note, if you think Tinson & Sedgemore are two players who have struggled this year, then you are more in a dreamworld than I ever thought

There are enough people that both these things can go ahead not problem. Dont even know why were arguing about it? Also if im the only one here who remember what this team and individual players were like prior to peters getting here then, some people have short memorys!! Yeah Sedge is ok now but was shocking early on and tinno was a mess for the first few months and probabley will struggle to get his place back from Walton on a regualr basis

I no I've certanly been no regular since the summer/when it first started but as Gareth says it seems quite counterproductive.
If we were holding an event we'd want the OSC and other supporters groups to support it....

I can see both sides of the debate here.
I'm of the personal belief that the OSC wouldn't mind if we continued our regular footy for this week.
After all the people who had wanted to go to the Q&A session will undoubtedly go still, whether footy is on or not.
I'd prefer to play footy personally, especially considering I've had to miss it the last 3 weeks.

It would be different if the 5-a-side was a 'one-off' and involved the masses but as it is regular occurance I can't see what the bother is. The OSC has the full backing of B&A and I'm sure many B&A users will be there anyway.
I can play this week as well.

I too would prefer to play footy.
If we don't have enough people interested in attending footy then fair enough cancel it.

I don't really know
I want to do both and am not sure which I want to do more
the thing about the OSC is that it is good to not have events that clash, which I agree with, but then sometimes it can;t be helped and I only found out about this meeting on Thrusday a couple of days back

sorry guys posted the other thread before reading this one I am sorry the events clash however it is GP who has specified that the Q&A sessions are on thursday as he does not want the players out on other nights The OSC agreed to this as we though that most people could not make Mondays which are our usual meeting nights As we intend to do this on a regular basis perhaps we can arrange the events so they dont clash in the future between us so everyone wins

If youi could stick a stack of dates on here - im sure we could rearrange B&A 5 a side to suit?
