It measured 3.5 on the Richter Scale, apparently. Sounded like a runaway truck, and people ran out of their houses!!! It's so strange, because I'd been joking about "stroppy moods" being measured on the Richter Scale. My youngest daughter was in a bad mood yesterday. She's a tiny blonde (about 50 times prettier than her Mum!!) and her boyfriend is 6ft 2in. But she's a little firebrand. (Her Dad spoilt her! ) She was having a "strop" measuring about 5 on the Richter scale- mainly about her boss. (And she's given up chocolate and was having chocolate withdrawl symptoms!) I don't think that caused the earthquake, though- I wonder what did?

It was on the main news last night apparently as I was on the phone to someone in London and they spotted it asked did we fell anything up here. I don’t think it was powerful enough for that?
Remember the ones we did have up here though (when I was a kid at primary school) and the one in West brom – small but we get them every now and again!

i love earthquakes and think they are an incredible experience obviously if i lived on the other side of the world they wouldnt be much fun at all last time we had one i was in bed and my missus woke up and was scared maybe it was a little naughty of me to lift the bed up and shake it as soon as she nodded back off

Yes about 6.45 last night I was on the phone to a friend when suddenly my armchair started to shake, then the whole house trembled, at the same time this loud rumbling noise came as someone mentioned "just like a runaway truck" and , seemed to follow the road outside the house down towards the sea, the noise was moving quite slowly , it was loud enough to be heard quite clearly by the person on the other end of the phone. Spoke to someone near Colwyn Bay this morning, he felt no tremor but went outside to find out who was banging his garage doors. Quite scary for a few moments but does make you realise what the really large quakes must be like.
