When you guys go at the end of May will you ask the Spanish players/fans there views on racism? football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,1563,1412322,00.html These instances are happening all over Spain. I made my views known on the subject when you first mooted this trip. Am I over re-acting? Good Luck when you go and I hope you all enjoy your time in Barcalona.

I like the AS Shrewsbury name Pricey, has a definite ring to it.
And don't worry harmerhill, we will sort the racialist Spanish element out, once we have given them a football lesson.

As we represent the club we should just simply be Shrewsbury Town Supporters Football Club (STSFC)

As we represent the club we should just simply be Shrewsbury Town Supporters Football Club (STSFC) Are you representing the club though or rather a group of club supporters representing themselves. Just a thought as there may be repercussions iif anthing untoward were to occur.

Well I like to think we are ambassadors for the club anyway, and have been legitimised via the page in the programme and the end of season game vs the club staff.... but good point.....

what makes you think anything like that would happen? I'm pretty sure that nothing would happen but the club can't afford any international incidents that might jeopodise our future entry into european competition.

I'm just pleased that the Spanish authorities have given us entrance to the event given that STFC has it's own share of racists, and that I have heard racist chanting at least twice over the past year from Shrewsbury Town supporters.

Having discussed out entry into europe with faginy last night we have agreed that all players going to Barcelona should sport a ridiculous small piece of facial hair just under the bottom lip a la most poncy european footballers....
Alice bands are also to be worn...

Thinking of some rules and guidelines for the trip
Nonsey Long Hair is good for pulling players back with
Cosmetic Jewellery is an invite to a reducer of a tackle
It will not be acceptable for any player with a tan to be allowed to run past you more than twice
We will automatically be assumed as the ones who will cause trouble during the weekend and if anything does happen expect the “English Thugs/hooligans” to be blamed!!!
