The Welsh Assembly have a pipe dream that in a few years Wales will be totally bilingual. Hence Welsh is part of the curriculum throughout Wales. There are a number of Welsh language schools in various parts of Wales, where all subjects are taught through the medium of Welsh. Otherwise, if teachers in a school are not Welsh speakers then perapatetic Welsh teachers come in for a couple of hours a week. Another of the Welsh Assembly's ideas is that all teachers should be able to teach through the medium of Welsh to a basic standard. This is another pipe dream which is never going to come to fruition. And the reason for your question? I've just realised - with your insulting title to the thread, I shouldn't have bothered to reply.
