I enjoyed it - particularly after about 50 mins of listening to the commentary team moan about what a poor French team the English were having to play

Can't say I'm really upset to be honest. The people wearing their rugby shirts around now will go back into the closest for a while and hopefully TV will return to normal

Will certainly add weight to the critics of England i.e. just a 1 man team and without Wilkinson have no one who can consistently score the points. France were bloody awful 1st half, and we were just as bad 2nd half. It was a novel experience for England to score more tries and lose - for years I used to argue with rugby fan mates as to how it should be about scoring tries (after France , Scots etc did but lost to a ruthless English kicking machine) and not penalties and was shouted down. We are now a long way from the team that won the World Cup - lots of potential in many of the players though so who knows. Anyway, who cares ? Wrong shaped ball anyway

We use to be able to rely on the egg chasers to beat the French. Woodern Spoon here we come!

Wales beat Italy - England lose to France, Salop win at Grimsby (and the three teams below us all lose), Utd beat City. Yes, I can honestly say it's been a good weekend ;D

And your son gets a new job, but make sure you get your priorites right eh Dad? Does this mean you're accepting the new position. I've been on tenderhooks all weekend.
