Andy 'n' Gerry were talking of stretchers and splints Hopefully it was just us being cautious. It sounded as if Mossy was having a good game - hopefully he'll not miss a game

Wind was a major factor , Town were kicking against it first half , Sammy was running around beating his man for fun, Luke was being fed ball down the opposite flank and it worked well with plenty of crosses getting into the box.

It was an appalling tackle, that Bull should have been sent off for. Hopefully your captain will be back in action soon. Ironically, today was Bull's first game back after a 3 match ban.
He did play for Millwall but was out on loan for the second half of last season so did not feature in their cup run.
Congratulation on the win (even though it was against such awful opposition-Slade Out!) and good luck for the rest of the season. It seems pretty certain that our paths will cross in 2005/06.

Heard the callers on BBC Radio Humberside. Got to agree that first half you were poor but thought you were a finisher away from making us work (even) harder for our 2nd away win of the season. Any tips for a better pub than the Leaky Boot next time we come?......

Any tips for a better pub than the Leaky Boot next time we come?...... I don't know how they have the nerve to send people there - what a dump. Walked up to the Rutland Arms and enjoyed a pint of Old Mill bitter in a pleasant atmosphere. Put up with Rhinestone Cowboy on the jukebox twice in half an hour, but that excepted

I bumped into Alison on the train, so, as we were early, we went for a walk up the front at Cleethorpes and found a pub that brews its own beer. The pub is called Willys and I had a pint of Willys Original (3.8) and very nice it was too. They also had Willys Old Groin on at 6.2, but I decided that was a bit dangerous for lunchtime. A quick stop in the chippy then we joined other fans in the Leaking Boot, or whatever it was called, for some pretty naff Tetleys.
All a nice warm up for a very enjoyable, if bloody cold, away win.

Ronnie Bull got the man of the match award. Nice one, he gets man of the match despite being on the losing team, almost ends an opposing team mates career, who chooses the MOM award ? a Grimsby sponser. Shrewsbury players turned up today, turned Grimsby over no end first half , and defended supurbly second half and still created loads. MOM .........Ronnie Bull, soz thats a p!55 take.

Peany??? or something like that, his name was mentioned a hell of a lot in the second half. I was thinking of the left back Ryan who played for Millwall in t'final

Just to go back to the pub thing quickly, the social club under the away end wasn't bad, it was indoor, warm but £2.50 a pint of vending machine John smiths.
Went to the 'Blundell Park' after the match and although the locals seemed friendly at first, I sensed a definte feeling of not being wanted there.
