i've got no problem with jamo voting bnp, it's his choice, though i'd like to understand why he thinks it's ok to vote for an openly racist party...

Ok. That's it. You and me, outside! Thinking competition. I'm going to think your ass off. This started out as a serious thread. You've obviously lost the plot early and have had to resort to juvenile banter in order to deflect from your lack of political knowledge.

fight! fight!
I'll vote for the sitting MP in the constituency. Although I disagree with quite a few of his party's policies he's done OK and he's local.
The tory chap looks a bit laid back - two buttons open on his shirt - that's the idea, a politician who is too laid back to do any lasting damage.

This started out as a serious thread. You've obviously lost the plot early and have had to resort to juvenile banter in order to deflect from your lack of political knowledge. I was trying to defuse your obvious yearning for a fight, but clearly failed. Using phrases like 'political vacuum' does not leave me cowering in fear of your mental prowess, as you seem to think. I was simply trying to gauge the feeling on here, as, while Shrewsbury is a traditionally Tory town, and tipped to go to the Tories again, I thought that perhaps Labour would be favourites on here, and, so far, it looks to be the case. I see no reason for your hostility.

Who's being hostile ?
You asked a question and i answered it . Alas it would appear that anyone with an opinion different to your own is viewed as wrong.
I'm guessing you're an "A" level student type person who has the vote for the first time and is getting all exicited with the anticipation of it all.

I'm guessing you're an "A" level student type person who has the vote for the first time and is getting all exicited with the anticipation of it all. You have been hostile throughout this thread. I've not said you were wrong anywhere thus far, though I will now. I asked a question and you saw a chance to go off on one, and ran with it. As for your final paragraph, totally wrong, I'm 25, have voted before and was simply trying to get a gauge of local opinion. I really cannot understand what your problem is. As a wise man once said - "Alas it would appear that anyone with an opinion different to your own is viewed as wrong."

This country needs a change. Why? Low interest rates, low mortgage rates, a vastly improving health service, improving crime figures, more money than ever being put into health, police, education. A stable economy I wouldnt pretend for a second that this government hasnt made mistakes, but FFS just what do people want? Perhaps people would prefer violence in northern ireland, riots in our streets, a boom and bust economy, waiting 18 months to have your hernia repaired, sitting for 18 hours in A &E waiting for a bed, mass unemployment.
