Jamo will argue about anything. I should have run the bugger over as he attempted to cross the road while I made a mad dash to Asda before it closed for some doughnuts. Sold out by the time I got there Great evening and WELL DONE to all those who put it on I feel like the day after Stoke all over again. Proud of the people at our club and the people who support it. Anyone who stayed at home to watch England last night should be ashamed. That is not said knowing the result but was the topic of conversation before the meeting between a few of us. We all agreed it would be a rubbish game.

Scott has a degree in marketing - clever bloke by all accounts. So if the rumours about Wingove are true...you don't suppose he'd be interested in the commercial managers position at the club do you? ;D Top marks to everyone involved last night!! Someone mentioned a video, will this be posted on the ShrewsTRUST website?

Why was our prospective Tory MP there? I can't remember him doing a lot when the covenant controversy was raging! He left at half time after he had been recognised. Oh! was there a Chronicle snapper there. Nuff said, he'll have an extra piccie in the next edition of the Chron.

All Parliamentary candidates were invited to attend As were all borough councillors for Meole Brace, Sutton and Reabrook and Column, as they are impacted byt he new stadium. John Tandy, councillor for Sutton and Reabrook attended the event, was very impressed and is interested in joining the Trust I wonder if Albie would have come

An extremely inspirational evening- highlight had to be TBH's words. Hugh painted the financial picture with the skill of an artist and the passion from everyone involved in the organisation of the event shone through. It seems that the club may shortly be in a position to reap the rewards of having such a skilled, willing and able supporter base.

This all sounds like really exciting stuff - couldn't make it last night due to being exiled but am well impressed by all the effort going into this could someone summarise what it all means for me though(in as few words as possible!) -what was the gist of last night? is the aim eventually to own a stake in the club? or just provide funds for the club? or some other aim? would be interested in getting involved myself in some way, but not quite sure what i could offer though, are you looking for people with particular skills - or just anyone and everyone who wants to help? sorry i have so many questions! congratulations to everyone who has got this thing up and running!

Supporters Direct advise you do. To be fair there is no way I would of had a foto with him, no way I'm going on a leaflet promoting the tories, but iof he did ever become our MP, it would be a good contact to have. The same goes for Mike Ion too.

I got told last night that Hugh was Edgeley_Shrew , apologies for any confusion........... I was playing football in Failsworth just about the time the meeting started - so it definately wasn't me - congratulations to Hugh Dennis though - I feel honoured to be mistaken for him - also the same to everyone else involved. Sounded a great night and hopefully the start of something big....

A night's work to be proud of. Everyone had worked so hard in the build up to last night, all the efforts that go on behind the scenes. I personally would like to thank faginy for all his support over the last few weeks in particular. We were in charge of the 'things to do'.....my dining room table has had so many 'to do' lists on it we could have opened a shop So now it's onto the next stage...details coming to a screen near you soon!!!
