I sent a text to someone I knew would be likely to go last night. And I knew this person could be couted on to give a good lead in the support and singing. The reason I sent the text, hoping he'd double his efforts, was something I'd read in a weekend "Football Pink"- Northern edition. There was a big feature about Bury. It said that they must develop a "Killer Instinct"!! I was worried, I'll confess- but, from what I heard on Radio Shropshire, they didn't sound all that threatening at all. The killer instinct must have died out!! (Or perhaps the support for our lads was so impressive, that they thought if Shrews getting support like that must be better than they'd originally thought!) You see- even the supporters can play their part in worrying the opposition!!! What must they think if they hear abuse shouted? Come on now- a lot of BIG noise from team supporters is quite intimidating to the opposition.

Don't you think that you would be better suited in the Riverside if you like singing so much? Maybe, if the players gave us something to sing about on the road, a better noise would be created?
