Sounded like Sam had a couple of good chances last night, a shot on the turn, and a header - both well saved. Can anyone comment on his overall performance last night? I thought his last 2 games were amongst the best I've seen for ages.

Sam did alright last night but it certainly wasn't one of his more productive games. To be fair he was very closely marked by at least two Bury players every time he got the ball so they obviously had him down as our main threat.
Good backpost header that produced a good save. Did enough to earn his pay.

Bury had definately done there homework on Sam, as Jamo says 2 to 3 men on him soon as he got the ball.

Good backpost header that produced a good save. From who? The guy in Row G behind the goal?

Still needs to work on his crossing but he worked hard I thought - and he was double marked most of the game

yeah, he did okay but somehow didn't look really up for it unless the ball was played straight to him, I know he was marked out of it for long spells but he didn't really go looking for it either. I think we missed Tolley in the middle, someone to be a play maker, shame he missed it for an awful welsh under 21 side where he only got a few minutes. Such a waste.

Is Marriott the Bury keeper now? A quality keeper imo.
