and they have just had a £50K bit turned down by Morecombe for Michael Twiss, you know the player they released about 6months ago!!!
Lord knows whats happening over there,
what i do know is that they seem to be making offers for players they either know will be rejected by the club or turned down by the player.
Some of them think it maybe a scharade, to conceal their real financial position.....

It's rubbish ain't it? They put in a bid for a player they know they're not going to get and it makes the chairman look as if he's got the cash to turn it around.
They're in the shít.

we aint in the s**t at all. big changes ready for next season. just had planning permission for new supporters club to be built and bars built within the ground. our chairman is also ready to splash the cash for new players. dont really fancy lowe though, or twiss for that matter. and contrary to reports, qpr have not responded to the club about our bid for macleod which is acttually £125k

They sold Kevin Ellison to Hull for £100K in January which is maybe one reason for their proliferation of bids - he was the one that Mossey tried to drop-kick, and who got sent off minutes later for tangling with Tolley

They sold Ellison because they said they needed to. Like they sold Collins to Sheffield United and Claire to pay off past debts. Actually it says it was £100k and then £25 based on appearences. They are blatently in the s**t. Gates of under 3000 (2000 in some cases) Mention of another couple of court orders/summons/whatever they are demanding payment aginst Chester. Who is he trying to kid. I'd compare them to TUFC, but at least Andy Shaw continued to buy players right up untill going bust....

maybe have something to do with the 1/4 million prize money for winning the Conf last season And how much does your club lose every week? 250k would hardly make a dent in Chester's debts.

maybe have something to do with the 1/4 million prize money for winning the Conf last season but you spent all that money paying the people to come and watch you "play"

oh the prize money why then did you offload Collins to pay help service some of the clubs debt? Why offload other players (Claire, Ellison etc...) dont just say because they wanted to go, you needed the money. How come their are people suing the club for unpaid bills etc??? The club is run like Market Drayton Town FC (can you believe they forgot to send in the application forms a couple of seasons ago to enter the FA Vase )

We could never refuse to alowe Collins to play in the Championship and maybe even the premiership next season looking at Sunderlands position. Ellison put in a transfer request and he also had a clause in his contract saying he can speak to clubs in higher leagues, Hull are 2nd in League 1 and very probably will be playing in the Championship next season. We don;t need the money now, but we will when Sir Steve Vaughan leaves which won't be for a very long time. don't say he's leaving at the end of the season, he's just got a new house in Chester.

still havent addressed the court issues about not paying bills, Vaughn talking about adminstration a few months ago to get out of having to pay old debt (which tied in with selling Collins) For the record we rejected substantial interest/bids from two championship teams (one of which is in and around the play-offs) for Luke Rodgers, so pull the other one

If remeber properly didn't the 250k go to pay the players wages for last season. I think part of it went to paying a small bill and the rest into transfer funds. Why would any Championship teams want Luke Rodgers? He's been s**t every time we've played you. That moght not be the usual case though, but just an assesment on his performances agaonst us

7 goals in 14 starts in his first season as part of the first team squad 22 goals the next season 20 goals the season after 15 goals last season. I'd say with that record he's one of the better strikers knocking around the lower leagues oh and hes 22 I believe. Whats Michael Branch ever done??? Besides leave everton as a failure, leave wolves as a failure and leave Hull as a failure (is it me or has every move taken him further down the league ladder )

think this is a clever ploy, none of us know the true plight of chesters money situation, but if it si that they are up s**t creek then, making yourself with busy with this kind of rumours, not only alerts peoples attention, but also media, and other clubs generates curiosity.
this has a positive effect within the local community looked at what happend to shrews when they went down.
For the sake of football and local rivalary i hope they are not on the brink it would be terrible to see another club go in to admin locally
